These terms apply to the plugfixrepair.com website and to appliance repair services
provided by Plug Fix Repair. By using this site or booking a service call, you agree to them.
What we do
Plug Fix Repair services household appliances — refrigerators, freezers, washing
machines, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, cooktops, microwaves, vent hoods, wine coolers and
garbage disposals — in Katy, Richmond, Fulshear, Sugar Land and Rosenberg, Texas.
Availability outside those areas is confirmed case by case.
Appointments and arrival windows
Appointments are usually available same-day or next-day, depending on technician
availability and your location. For same-day service we normally provide a 2–3 hour
arrival window and call about 20–30 minutes before the technician arrives. Traffic,
parts availability and the length of earlier jobs can move a window; if that happens we will
tell you as soon as we know.
Diagnosis, estimates and approval
A technician diagnoses the appliance on site and gives you a price before any repair work
begins. No repair is carried out without your approval, and you are never charged an amount
that was not quoted to you first. If a diagnostic or trip charge applies to your appointment,
we tell you the amount when the appointment is booked.
Parts
Some repairs need a part to be ordered. We will tell you the expected timing before you
approve the work. Parts carry the manufacturer’s own warranty where one is provided.
Payment
Payment is due when the work is completed, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
Cancellations
Please tell us as early as you can if you need to cancel or move an appointment, so we can
give the slot to another customer.
Access and safety
An adult must be present for the appointment. Please make sure the technician can reach the
appliance safely, and tell us in advance about pets, gas connections, water shut-off locations
or anything else that could affect the work.
Limits
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, for appliances that cannot be repaired
economically, or for faults caused by installation, power supply, plumbing or the use of
non-manufacturer parts fitted by others. Where an appliance is beyond economical repair we
will tell you rather than sell you the work.
